From the Desk of the Secretary

Well this month concludes my 2009/2010 year as secretary.  By the time you read this I believe elections will be completed and you will find that you are stuck with me for another year.  Since I have only been an Elk for about 10.5 months I am sure I am not getting it all done by the book.  But I assure you when they tell me I need to get something done I try my best to get it done.

I have already begun to receive a response to the dues notices sent out last month.  I would like to save some postage for the Lodge. If you would like to pick up your new card please let me know by email with the subject line of "CARD" at cocoaelks@cfl.rr.com or by phone to the Lodge and leave a message to be added to the list of cards that will be left behind the bar.  Distribution of cards will begin in Mid March.

If you would like a spouse's card or a widow's card and you did not get one last year please let me know - we will use the list from issued cards last year to issue this years Identification Cards.
