Community Volunteer Activities
(As you may or may not know, when you VOLUNTEER in the community whether
delivering meals on wheels, helping in your child’s school, working at the
Sharing Center, Hospital, or whatever
your pleasure is. Your Volunteer Hours should be logged in with the lodge
on a monthly basis so we can report them to the Grand Lodge )
We would like to keep everyone abreast of what is going on in the Lodge and
emails are a quick and inexpensive
way to do so. REMEMBER
This Bulletin is now on our Website

Thanks so Much, Jan

Elk’s Kitchen
The Cocoa Elk’s Kitchen is on it’s way to being updated and kept in READY
Condition. Our Own “Captain Kitchen” T.J.
(who was given this
challenge by ER Mike) has instituted some changes. It has come to his
attention that these
“new rules”
need to be clarified.
Any member can use the kitchen.
Just sign out the KEY with the Bartender on Duty. The sign out sheet is there.
The Club welcomes anyone (member) who wishes to “cook” for their Function. The
more the better. If you do however, take ownership of this function, it is your
responsibility to fulfill it completely. This means
you are in charge.
You get the volunteers, you get the cook’s, and you take care of the serving and
clean up. It is your responsibility to leave the kitchen as you found it.
“CLEAN”.
We are getting a new suppression system, and are awaiting decisions for a new
grill. This all
costs money, supporting our functions helps us
and it all takes time. Thanks for your cooperation and we hope this clears this
matter up.
Thank you
The
House Committee
